I decided I needed a place again to post all things genealogy including mysteries, finds, pictures and whatever else turns up. The main lines I am interested in are Stav(e), Hilliard, Lockman, Wangerin, Lefavour/LeFavor, Parker, Grandbois, Vivier, Eikeness/Ekenes, Janson, Sauer, Hur(d)t, Meyer, Brausen & Krings on my side and Whittemore, Leach, Shopek/Slopek, Grybos, Murphy & Jones on my husband's side. Most all of these families settled in WI, MN & ND in the 1800s.
